You can just add this on to the list of reasons why I LOVE Jessica Simpson. Jessica told Life & Style magazine that her collection at Fall Fashion week will be modeled by some curvier woman this year. Jessica is a HUGE advocate of embracing your curves and feeling comfortable in your own skin. This should be interesting right?! I cant wait to see what J.Simp has in in store for us :-)
Today has been a very sad day for the LGBT community. Durand Robinson (pictured in the middle) was found laying lifeless in the street early this morning. Durand was well known in Atlanta and the LGBT community for his work with Traxx night club and his work with In The Life Atlanta organizing pride every year. Robinson had a huge impact on the gay scene in Atlanta and he will never be forgotten. there will be a candle light vigil held in his honor in Atlanta on September 1st. I love Sam Ronson. She always tells it like it is and although she comes off like a hard ass, she actually seems like a pretty sweet girl who holds her family and friends very close to her. Gaga makes a cute boy on the cover of Japanese Vogue. These are the final photos shot by Nick Knight for Gaga’s cover of Vogue. She looks phenomenal and Knight did a great job capturing the essence of “Joe Calderone.” Love it! Androgyny is a powerful thing and VERY sexy.
Aaliyah was a beautiful person inside and out and she will always have a place in music history. She was a trend setter, an amazing songstress, and a huge role model for young girls across the nation. Aaliyah was a true RnB goddess. RIP Aaliyah. You will be missed but never forgotten. This is the kind of work I live for. Giving people opportunities they may have never had before. I realize how blessed I am to have the privilege of attending ATL gay pride this year and partaking in some of the opportunities that have been given to me during my stay there. I also realize that there are alot of LGBT youth, adolescence and artist within the community that would love to make it to this huge event but don’t have the money or means to get there. Ive decided to personally sponsor a trip for one person to Atlanta gay pride next year. This person will be provided with a plane ticket, a hotel room, and a VIP pass for the events of their choice. Exciting right?! The person chosen will also be invited to spend a day with me and learn about the business aspect of the LGBT community as well as enjoy a great dinner :-) I will release more details closer to the beginning of Summer next year. This will be a great opportunity to meet some really positive influences in the LGBT community and learn about what gay pride really is.
Lindsay Lohan has officially been released from rehab. Lohan has a court hearing tomorrow morning that will determine whether she will be sent to another rehab clinic to finish her sentencing or not. For now she is a free lady. I wonder if Sam Ronson will be seen lingering around….

I saw this video on The Advocate and I thought it was AMAZING!! A church group in Toronto Canada was run out of a neighborhood after they decided to picket and spew hateful slurs on a gay couples front lawn in the area. The community rallied together to defend there neighbors and rid their neighbor hood of hate. Check out the video above!
