Who says the black LGBT community isn’t making moves? We have done some HUGE things in the year 2012 and there’s even more to celebrate after reading this FAB article in Jet Magazine. Ravi, an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Mississippi State University, and Paris, a licensed real estate broker and anti-discrimination compliance expert, were wed in August among a slew of family and friends who support their union. The two were proud to have their wedding featured in Jet Magazine and worked closely with GLAAD to help convey their story to readers.

“We are excited and honored to have our wedding featured in the historic yet ever-current JET Magazine. Long the hallmark in publishing news, culture, and events pertaining to the Black American experience, Jet’s publishing of our union is historic.”

This is amazing and we applaud Jet Magazine for going out on a limb and including such a fabolous and amazing couple in their publication. This is FAB! Congrats to the happy couple :-)
