Alright for Iylana and the newest episode of her show highlighting the life of a transgender man who needed help fixing his life. Jeremyah told Iylana about his issues with his father, who just happens to be a pastor, and doe’snt approve of him being transgender (as if its a choice). Iylana had a heart to heart with Jeremyah and his father and did her best to resolve the tension between them. Check out the episode below. Kudos to OWN for putting the LGBT community in the limelight :-)

    Iyanla misgenders and disrespects Jerimiyah throughout the episode. She also uses alot of ignorant terms (referring to trans ppl as “transgenders” or “a transgender”. she caters to the fathers’ bigotry the whole time at the expense of Jerimiyah’s dignity and basic identity. She really didnt help Jerimaya at all but instead exploited and manipulated him for her own gain. shame on Iyanla and the OWN network for this ignorance…
