This is what I call a proud moment. 16 year old Gabrielle Douglas won two gold medals at this years Olympic Summer games after dubbed as the underdog. Not only did Gabby prove the haters wrong, but she also made history by becoming the FIRST African American woman to win all around gold at the the Olympics. If this isn’t FAB I don’t know what is.

Gabby is an amazing competitor and her ambition and drive is absolutely inspiring. It’s refreshing to see a young black woman doing something POSITIVE in the media. Take note everyone. Life is all about following your dreams. It really is all or nothing! Check out Gabby’s preliminary performance as well as her performance during the finals below.

I also wanted to share this video I found on Huffington Post Black Voices with you all. Gold Medal winner Dominique Dawes expressed her love and support for the young gold medalist through tears. It was so sweet!
