Over 250 churches in Maine are raising money to end Gay Marriage

Well ain’t this about a b*tch (as mama Fab Femme wold say). A number of churches in Maine are taking up an extra collection to fight gay marriage. What sounds wrong with this picture? Between 15o and 200 churches in Maine will be passing around an extra collection plate to raise money for  Protect Marriage Maine political action committee. This group aims to redefine peoples views on gay marriage and promote a union between a man and a woman.

God forbid they take up money to fund education or feed needy families. I’m disgusted. Click the link to read more.

    Aren’t there more important things for the church to worry about? Like priests who molest children? Or pastors who use tithes to buy themselves a Mercedes?
