Boys’ Only | Cake Remix by Rihanna feat Chris Brown and Rob. B

See where I come from, we call that scandal. But if you got the body for it… go head.
When the track Cake came out by Rihanna, I almost campaigned for one of the out artists to remix it. I mean it was an opportunity not to be lost… how do you write a song about cake being used as a euphemism and the gays not remix it? Most of us were already singing it anyway.
One came out… and if you check the records I didn’t post it. Because frankly, I was disappointed. Well color me surprised when I got a lovely email this morning “Out model and rapper Rob.B releases new remix to ‘Cake.’” YAS! I’ve since listened to the track like 6 times.
The cover, shot by Wander Agular, gives a nod to Rob’s modeling background as well as the salacious nature of the song. Rob admits that the song, which was coincidentally recorded on his birthday, is the “dirtiest” he’s ever been on a track but says “hey I’m a man: sex is always on our minds, so why not?”
While I’m not sure I agree with the logic, there’s no denying the track is sickening – in all the right ways.
