It looks like 2012 is going to be the year of the FemmeC. Over the past year or so, hard hitting females like Iggy Azalea, Azealia Banks, and Audra The Rapper have emerged on the music scene. They studied, produced fresh lyrics, and collaborated with the producers that are the best fit for the sound they are trying to relay to audiences. All roads lead to Femme MC’s in the year 2012 thanks to these ladies. It’s refreshing to have a variety of female rappers to listen to instead of just one.

Within the past few months Iggy Azalea has been signed to Interscope Records and Azealia Banks has been signed to Universal. What makes these ladies so FAB? They’re making their way to the top without dissing anyone or using gimmicks or props to gain attention from the public. They are real, they are raw and they are coming to change the Hip Hop game for the better. Let’s give a round of applause to all the FAB FEMME MC’s that are changing the face of Hip Hop in 2012. You girls are amazing. Good luck to all the femmec’s in 2012!
