Q & A time with “Urban L Magazine”

How is everyone this lovely Sunday evening?! Great I hope! Im here bringing you another interview from a very positive and inspiring person in the younger LGBT community. Meet Jazzie. Her website is blooming and her effort to make our community a little better is hard to ignore. Get to know her a little better!

Q:Thanks for doing the interview Jazzie. Lets get right into it! Who inspres you most?

A: Jay Z. He doesn’t only inspire me he is also my icon reason being he
went from a rapper to an entrepreneur. I identify with him because
he’s from Brooklyn, he rose against adversity and made it out of the
“hood”. To me, he’s the voice of the people, not saying everyone
should sling dope, but have a goal. No one would sign him so he made
his own way. He is more than just a rapper to me, he is a smart,
successful BUSINESS man, and i strive for all that.

Q:What did you do to overcome a rough time you went through in your life?!

A:Without getting too deep and personal, I prayed.  Prayer can conquer
all.  With God you can over come a lot, just keep him first in all
things.

Q:What are your thoughts on Prop 8 and banning gay marriage?

A:I think that everyone will have there own opinions on gay marriage and
prop 8. I also  believe that we are human beings and real love
has no color, size, race or ethnicity, and if you love someone you
should be able to express your love for that person. As the saying
goes “only god can judge us”…… so at the end of the day that should be
the only person who decide what should be or what shouldn’t be.

Q:Are you single or taken?!

A: Happily taken :-)

Q:What is your personal message to the LGBT community?!

A:My message to the lgbt community is to be who you are and never let
anyone bring you down.Be comfortable in your skin because in life you
will come across people who won’t like you for many different reasons. Never let it bring you down, what doesnt break you can only make you stronger. Reach for the galaxy and it if it seems to far keep
going and don’t settle for the moon!

Q:Where do you see yourself in 5 years?!

A:I see myself being very productive and still giving my all to The
Urban L Magazine. I see myself giving people who are afraid to come
out about their sexuality a voice and helping them understand that there
is nothing better than being yourself…… I see myself being someones
idol the way Jay-Z is mine!

I would really love for you all to take a look at Jazzie’s website! Click HERE to visit site.
